AVOCADO AND ITS HEALTH BENEFITS

Avocado are the highest source of monosaturated fatty acids. They are also a good source of potassium and fiber. Avocado are said to be good for gut. Avocado are rich in fibre and monosaturated fat which impacts the microbes in the gastrtintestinal system. Further they are good for heart since the fat which they contain is monosaturated fat which is heart-healthy fat. A recent study has inferred that eating two or more servings a week (one cup) of avocados have a 16% lower risk of cardiovascular disease and 21% lower for coronary heart disease compared to those people who rarely consume avocado.
They also can be used for hair treatment. Mashed avocado mixed with curd and applied to hair gives the moisture which hair needs.
Avocado mixed with Vitamin E oil can be a good face mask. Avocado is rich in omega-3 fatty acids including lauric acid which has been proven effective for treating acne. It also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Vitamin E is a natural antioxidant and it also helps in skin cell regeneration. Hence a face mask of Vitamin E and Avocado can be very effective.
Mash a ripe avocado and mix with two table spoon aloe vera gel . Apply to scalp and wash it after one hour. This will give you benefits from dandruff and itchy scalp.
